FAQ
Does it work with FM27 right now?
Yes. Bootroom supports Steam FM27 build 27.0.0 on Windows 10/11 (64-bit), including the launch preview. Epic, Xbox/Game Pass, Mac and future game patches aren't supported yet. We release updates when SI patches the game.
Is FMRTE 27 out? Is Bootroom an alternative?
As of 30 October 2026, FMRTE has said FM27 support is in progress with no date. Bootroom is an independent real-time editor that works with FM27 today. It is not made by or affiliated with FMRTE.
Do my edits stay in the save?
Bootroom changes the running game. Use FM's Save Game to write the changes into your save file. Always back up your save first. This is Early Access software.
Windows says "Unknown publisher"
The Early Access installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn you. Click More info → Run anyway. Bootroom installs per user and never bundles game files.
Will it get me banned?
FM27 is a single-player game. Bootroom edits your own local save on your own PC. Don't use it in online multiplayer careers.
Refunds and support
If it doesn't work for you, you get a full refund within 14 days. Reply to your Gumroad receipt for support or to reset a PC slot.
